Rashmeet Kaur

Rashmeet Kaur is one of the most distinctive voices in Indian independent music — a Punjabi-rooted vocalist who blends folk traditions with contemporary pop, hip-hop and electronic production. Her independent single Faqeeran has been steadily gaining traction, while her Bollywood work has become genuinely inescapable: Nadiyon Paar (Roohi), Thumkeshwari (Bhediya), Ishq Nachaawe (Kho Gaye Hum Kahan) and Janiye (Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga).

What to expect

Her first full UK & Ireland run with IndieKhoj — five nights, five cities, built as intimate live shows rather than large-format concerts. She performs with an exceptionally tight pop/jazz band that brings a real depth and looseness to the material live. Expect her biggest tracks alongside newer independent work, in rooms small enough that the crowd is part of the show.
